The Fronter Offer to Surrey Schools

On behalf of Surrey County Council, VT Four S has worked with Fronter to develop an initial two year offer at preferential rates for Surrey schools. This replaces the Interim Fronter Offer and is outlined below. 
The cost of the package is dependent on school phase, numbers of pupils and staff on roll and, in the case of primary and special schools, the training package a school chooses. The alternative training packages have been developed so primary and special schools can work with other schools on the training programme.

What does the two year offer include?

• Initial Fronter setup
• MIS integration setup
• 2 annual charges which cover licences, hosting, storage, backup, support, upgrades and maintenance of the MIS integration
• Training and support package consisting of:
• Senior Leadership Team Meeting,
• 1 day user and 1 day admin training for nominated staff,
• 2 half day follow up support sessions,
• 1 day update course in year 2 for a designated member of staff and
• Access to facilitated Fronter user group sessions which are planned to take place at least twice a year.

Training
As accredited trainers, consultants from VT Four S will be delivering the training for schools. Four alternative packages for Primary and Special Schools are available. Additional Fronter support and training will be available to schools at standard traded rates.

Costs of the Offer
Please note that the costs detailed are for a 2 year deal and those wishing to take up the offer will be invoiced for 2 equal installments. These will be requested when the initial part of the training programme has been completed and one year later. The first installment will normally be at the end of the half term in which a school’s initial training has taken place.

Expressions of interest
For those schools that are interested in the offer, we are asking them to return an expression of interest form. This will allow the Curriculum ICT Team at VT Four S to manage support over the next four school terms.
